Why Sala-una?
Because Sala-una is a new multi-disciplinary cultural Centre, designed to develop guiding ideas to the pressing questions of the 21st century, inviting her guests to examine, through dialogue, the future direction of Europe and the philosophies underlying it.
Why participate?
Because the guests, who come from a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines, are participants in an open inquiry into the future of Europe: her relationship to the historic Mediterranean space (the former Middle Sea of Classical Antiquity); her future socio-economic model(s); her response to the questions of identity, immigration and expansion; her strategies for the era of globalisation and the emergence of new spheres of economic and political influence such as India, China and the former Soviet Union.
Why invest?
Because investment in guiding ideas, inspiration, criticism, networking and commitment toward Europe’s future, is an investment that pays off in the cultural, political, social and economic dimensions of Europe; in prestige, self-realisation and the pleasure of idealism, and in a reasonable profit on the investment.
Why now?
To offer a place for re-shaping Europe through both new media and face-to-face dialogue between Chair-residents and Chair-holders; International companies; existing organisations, like the Newropeans, the Société Européenne de Culture {SEC}; transnational artists and so on.
How?
There are two ways to participate in Sala-una.
- investing in the property of Sala-una with participations starting of € 50,000.
- participating by sponsoring a chair as Chair Holder for an annual rate of € 50,000.
